A/N - Coming and going...

Hi, people!

I really didn't have much time to post lately... (school and such...) But I found the time now and I'm gonna try telling you as much as I can before I go to bed...

Seeing as my last post was in October, you missed a lot!

I started learning to play the piano, and I'm learning pretty fast! I've been learning for about half a year, but I can already play pretty good.

I'll post some sounds of me playing soon. (Under the subject "M" - music)

Thanks,
A

B - Beet the Vandel Buster by Riko Sanjo & Koji Inada

I've had the first book for a long time, and kept waiting to get the next ones.
Not long ago, I got volumes 2, 3, and 4, and I must say, Beet the Vandel Buster is a very, very good series.

Wait for more soon!
Maybe not so soon, as I never find the time to post some more...
But it will come... Sometime...

B - One Piece by Eiichiro Oda

I got Vol. 1 as a present when I was 8 or 9 years old.
It's a very good series, very funny, good storyboard, too.

I have volumes 1-16, and till now, they're great!!

Anyway, I'll be writing my opinion on "Beet the Vandel Buster" soon...

Bye till next time!!

B - Anthony Horowitz

Anthony Horowitz -- Author of Alex Rider and Ravens' Gate series.

Alex Rider -- A good series, except Alex is a little too... how will I say it...? Umm... good. He's too trained, knows too much... A better story is with some kind of weakling that turns good only later.

Ravens' Gate -- HORROR. Too much horror. But the last 10 pages convinced me that it's good after all...

Anthony Horowitz is a good author, but it depends on what kinds of books you like...

A - Cellphone!

Yes!! Finally! I have a cellphone of my own!

Last Friday, I went to buy a cellphone.
After seeing a few models, I chose a MotoRizr Z3.
Turns out it's not just a cool design, it's an amazing phone, too!

It can record sound and videos, take pictures, and listen to music.
So I put some Queen songs in it, and sometimes I listen to them.

I will add a new subject "C" for "cellphone".

More info about it in the next few posts!

Bye for now.

A/N - Back!

Phew.
Today I was bored and I remembered "Oh, I haven't posted in my blog for a long time now!". So I'm back. A few changes lately.

1 - I watched the final of the EURO 08 in Rome. I didn't have Internet in the hotel there, so I coulden't post... (More info about Rome later -- lots to tell!!)

2- I've been getting more and more into music lately. I really like Queen (the band). I might add another subject under the letter "M" for music.

3- Ummm... nothing much else, so lets continue...

Rome

Ahhhh... I arrive at Rome with my dad.
Not much to say there, till we check in to the hotel.

The hotel was pretty good. Many channels on TV. But Internet access costs a LOT.
What I liked in the hotel is that they changed water and soda bottles in the fridge while we were away.

The heat in Rome was unbelievable (I hope I spelled that right... Oh, I did, according to the spelling check here.). It was very hot, and there wasn't any air conditioning in most (most/some) places...

There were 2 Subway lines. (I collected our subway tickets, and in the end there were ~ 28, don't remember right now). One of the lines all graffitied (spelled that right, too!), and the other pretty new, (and air conditioned, unlike the other one...)

We were at many places. Some very good restraunts there... Umm... The normal. Colosseum, and all that... I really wanted to see the Circo Massimo (spelling?), till I saw it, it was just a big place with grass. But I enjoyed walking through it anyway.

We went to Trastevere (spelling?), and got some souveniers there. I got a keyholder. A mini-colosseum, a Roma (soccer team) scarf, and a very nice hat with Italia written on it. We also got a nice pink hat saying Roma for my sister.

Am I writing too much? Getting boring? Oh, well. When I have more stuff to tell, I'll just post them.

I'm changing the subject "M" from misc to music. Not much misc left is there?

Thanks a lot for reading.
Will be back soon.

It's been a year and a half since I last flew (with my dad to Spain), and I'm soon gonna do it again!
I'm writing from my dad's laptop in the lounge. We'll depart any minute now.
Wow, I love the feeling you get when you get off the plane, after looooooooong, boooooooooring, hours on the plane...

Ready or not, here I come!!!

Anyway, some recent results from the EURO 2008!!

Portugal 2:3 Germany

Croatia (1)1:3(1) Turkey (penalties)

Netherlands (1)1:3(1) Russia (extra time)

Spain (0)4:2(0) Italy (penalties)

I hope I will be able to update you with the semi-finals and the final from Rome.

Finally, I got a Nintendo Wii!
Its soooooo cool. I have two games:
Wii Sports and Super Smash Brothers Brawl...

The Wii Sports is a very good game! I like tennis the best, but there's also bowling and baseball which are also good. I don't really get the idea with boxing, though...

Sunday, 8th June, 2008

I found the three free Wii channels "Check Mii Out Channel", "Nintendo Channel", and "Everybody Votes Channel" (I downloaded all three)...
I've got a few Miis in the Check Mii Out Channel, and I've uploaded six voters in the Everybody Votes Channel.

Question:
Does anybody know how to create a contest in the Check Mii Out Channel? If you do, comment please and tell me...

New Subject

I added a new subject on the blog - "W" for Wii...
I will post some stuff I need help with on the Wii, and maybe you can help me out a bit...

Any Wii players reading this?? Comment please.

B- Young Bond by Charlie Higson.

Here it is, the first post for books.

This post is about the series "Young Bond" by Charlie Higson.
This is a series about James Bond, only when he is a child.
I have all the books that came out.
There are four books untill now:

  1. Silverfin

  2. Blood Fever

  3. Double or Die

  4. Hurricane Gold

Young Bond is a very good series. Its for all ages. I strongly reccomend it.

My Ratings:

Silverfin: 3 and a half stars
Blood Fever: 3 and a half stars
Double or Die: 4 stars
Hurricane Gold: 4 and a half stars (GREAT BOOK!!)

A/N/F- Goalkeepers

As you know, I am a goalkeeper.
If you ask me, goalkeepers are crazy.

The goalkeeper is probably the player that gets hurt and injured most.
To be a good goalkeeper, you need very quick movement.
You always have to be awake and aware of whats happening.
The hardest shots to save are hard and low, because you need to get down to them quickly.

A few days ago, I posted a list of the top 10 goalkeepers today.
I have a few changes. Here are the top 10 in my opinion:
  1. Gianluigi Buffon
  2. Petr Cech
  3. Iker Casillas
  4. Edwin Van Der Sar
  5. Gregory Coupet
  6. Doni
  7. Julio Cesar
  8. Jens Lehman
  9. Franchesco Toldo
  10. Jose Reina

As you can see, the top 3 remain unchanged.
Of course, in the 1st place, Gianluigi Buffon.
A great goalkeeper, who won the 2006 FIFA World Cup for Italy.
Without Buffon, Italy couldn't win the 2006 World Cup.

This picture was taken from a video in YouTube. If anyone knows by who, comment and tell me, and I will write.

Notice there is a poll to your right.
The poll asks who in your opinion is the best goalkeeper in the world. The poll ends in the 9th of February 2008, at 9:35 PM. That day, I will post who was the goalkeeper with the most votes.

A- Whats New

Here are some new stuff:
  • I will add two new subjects: B for Books, and P for Pictures I caught from videos in YouTube.
  • The soccer drawing behind the title of the blog.
  • If you want any of the Pivot sticks I created, ask for them in a comment.
